Bake Day...

Ok, so I fancied something lemony....but I didn't want to work too hard so I perused the Odlums website and decide to try these....Iced Lemon Slices

Recipe deviations, yes I confess I did deviate from the said recipe. I didn't use the baking tin recommended because I wanted the slices to be deeper and because of this I had to leave the base in the oven for longer, 10 minutes longer. All was fine though.

And I got distracted when I was icing the tray bake and took no pics....bold Hubbie for wanting a cup of tea just as I was getting ready for icing.

Lesson for future, bake when Hubbie not at home.

As a side note, there may be some design changes to my blog if your checking in. I am trying to find the right background and/or picture/photo for the logo at the top. Its tough trying to design something or as my case would be I have a few ideas and I need to figure out how to do them?? I am not 100% happy with the look of the blog even though it was what I wanted initially but it does not seem like the right fit for it now...Wish me luck...
